The SMUD sponsored exhibit is centered on interactive touch screens, with Leo’s (the museum Mascot) footprints marching across. Colored gel tiles for smushing with your feet cover the floor. Since SMUD is the power company for the Sacramento area, the overall concept centered on the idea of power generation by the kids. They are the current running through the hallway, thus the right hand rule (electrical magnetic flow produced by current) is referenced. Large arrow graphics on the wall show the direction of the magnetic flow created from the kids as the current flowing through the hallway.
